Story Synopsis:

A no-holds-barred takeoff of every TV Christmas special, including every trope in the book -- hometown girl with the heart of gold, prince masquerading as the guy next door, evil property developer, and studly Christmas tree farmer. And of course, there are dogs (played by humans). Audience participation mandatory!

HOLLY, owner of the Evergreen Inn in Hopewood Falls, Vermont. A heart of gold

BRETT, stranded by a snowstorm, but secretly a prince from Artemisia. Rich.

JOY, a romance novelist visiting the inn.

PAUL, a rival romance novelist of Joy's.

CAROL, a war reporter, tired of big-city life.

JACKSON, a veterinarian, who owns two golden retrievers.

MERRY, a real estate lawyer businessperson with no time for love.

BLAKE, rugged owner of a tree farm.

KRIS, son of the former Santa Claus in the town parade.

NOELLE, owner of the oldest Christmas boutique in Hopewood Falls.

SVEN, the secret prince of Broxtenburg. Also rich.

RITA, movie star filming in Hopewood Falls.

LAERTES, real-estate developer and bad guy.

BRIDGETTE, red-headed besties of all the women.

JIMMY (can double as LAERTES), ex-boyfriend of every woman in the cast.

Audition Preparation:

Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script. Please bring any scheduling conflicts to the audition.
